About the Founder – Julian Wells
Julian Wells is the founder and driving force behind Vanua Group Ltd. As a registered legal practitioner in Vanuatu and an admitted lawyer of the High Court of Fiji, Julian blends legal precision with entrepreneurial vision. His expertise spans property, corporate, constitutional, and public administrative law, while he has also been deeply involved in family, land, and community development initiatives across Vanuatu and beyond.
Before fully entering the legal and business world, Julian represented Vanuatu internationally as a rugby league player, an experience that instilled in him discipline, leadership, resilience, and teamwork. These are characteristics he carries into his professional life today.
As founder, Julian’s mission is to facilitate a seamless transition for investors, businesses, and families relocating to Vanuatu, and to craft authentic, soul enriching experiences for visitors who choose to visit as guests. His work through VGL reflects his belief that true prosperity lies not just in wealth, but in freedom and connection, connecting capital to place, people to their purpose, and guests to the heart of Vanuatu.
